    Gentlemen,

I need you to help give me ideas on how I can generate the following signal with a microcontroller, perhaps using PWM. Low is 0V and high is 3.3V. The time for the initial high will be fixed, and the duty cycle (and frequency) for the rest of the section will also be fixed and turn off after a certain time mandated by an input to microcontroller. If you need more information, please ask me.[IMG]

Hmmm... For some reason i cant attach it properly. But it is basically a high for maybe 300ms and then i need this to transition to a on/off 50% duty cycle at about 20 or so KHz for about a full second, then turns off.

    Driving a motor, are we?

Anyway, a timer, maybe a PWM module, and a nice stable time reference can get this all done.(you don't really need that stable of a reference, but still, it's nice to have;)...)

What kind of microcontroller are you looking at? Specific model?
