The requirements are a minimum of 8W RMS power to 8Ω speakers with a maximum of 1% second harmonic distortion and 0.2% third harmonic distortion. Single chip integrated IC amplifiers are not allowed. BJT and MOSFETs in class A, AB, D or circlotron topology are recommended.

Its a school project. Need to design the amplifier ASAP. I would appreciate your help.

Didn't you post this somewhere else?

Google jlh1969. The bjt version runs in Class A only and the mosfet version runs in Class A, AB, B and even C if you so desire.

As you say, it's a school project, which means that the intent is for YOU to design the circuit. While we are willing to provide some guidance to help you get past sticking point, YOU need to show YOUR best attempt to solve YOUR homework.

Yash, we've given you help, but no one here is going to do the design for you. We've given you pointers and links that should help you learn how to design the circuit. Those links, in fact, included some very good sample schematics. However, they are generic. YOU will have to adapt them to your specifications, including setting supply voltages and device currents.

Designing a low distortion class AB or class A amplifier is well understood by many engineers, but it is not trivial. It takes a good number of calculations and simulations before the design is ready to prototype, and after that, it will likely still need some revision.
