I am doing a HNC in General engineering, however want to move into Chemicals and have limited knowledge of electronics. Could someone break this down for me please or at least assist with formulae. I am so stuck!


I have Transformer which has 2,000 Primary Turns and 50 Secondary Turns, Each with an average resistance of 0.005 W per turn. The effective Core-loss resistance is 1KW . The Primary winding is supplied by a 100 V source and a 12.5 W load is connected to the secondary terminals.

I need to know the regulation factor!
