Hi. I know this site is primarily an electronics site (awesome!), but I am having a tough time with a math concept. I thought you might be able to help
We are discussing Power Series in my Calc class, and the homework questions center around (1) finding the series' radius and interval of convergence; (2) finding the values of x for which the series converges absolutely; (3) the values of x for which the series converges conditionally.
My problem has been with #(3); How do I determine what values of x converge conditionally?
I am using a selected text e-Book (pgs. from various texts). I get the feeling that the use of the Comparison Test, Alternating Series Test, and the Integral test should be very helpful, but I can't find a brief and concise site explaining them and their use in finding conditional convergences.
Any help on finding conditional convergences would be great--really, really great. Thanks.
