Sorry if I'm not posting in the right area. This is my first post. I have a question about repairing my computer monitor.
It's a Dell Model #L17BNS. It just died. I CANNOT find anything on this model anywhere on the net. Not even on Dell's website. My son recently repaired an HP monitor for me and I was hoping we could fix this one also but I'm not finding any information on this model. Can anyone help? THanks

    What is the fault description?

A monitor can often be repaired without a service manual. Simple faults in the power supply are very common.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "fault description". I have no idea why the monitor stopped working.

Fault description = what is it doing.
Does it come on for a few seconds?
Does it come on at all?
If it does come on what do you see ? Blurry, ghosts, etc..

Thanks for explaining. The monitor is completely dead. Absolutely nothing. Plug it in and NOTHING. I used the same plugs to plug into a different monitor and that one works fine so its not the cords. I can't seem to find any information on this model. Thanks.
