hey everyone... m working on a project audio-out splitter. It helps us to get output into two headphones with diff. volume controls. intially i was to using 2 ICs TDA2822M which is an IC with 2 power amps. , but now i have been told to use 4 power amps. gains which ICs were providing is 89 db. can u please help me out in selecting the app. power amp. voltage range being 1.8 v ~ 15v

 

If the input is already for headphones at low volume, 89dB gain would be nearly a Megawatt output in theory, but would be complete distortion beyond about 1/4 Watt at output. What I am guessing you are looking for is something that can be adjusted to near unity gain.

What is the desired physical size, input level/impedance, and output level of the design?
