Hello,

I have been trying to locate a crystal. The only markings on the crystal are:

1. ERIE
2. 40.2khz

Is anyone familiar with this company or know who bought them out? I haven't had any luck finding the company through google searches. My guess is that the part is old and the company does not exist anymore. Any direction/help would be greatly appreciated.

They are now called Murata-Erie.

 

With crystals you need to know the overtone, and if its series or parallel wired, they can alter the stray capacitance for you.
