so I have come up with my own run turn brake circuit but I have some issues with it. I have not physically tested the circuit so im not sure if it will even work but one thing I do know is that the coil impedance is 230 ohms. This in parallel with the 10k resistor makes for an impedance around 225 ohms. To get the required time constant (around 2 seconds) I have to use a huge 10k uf cap. I don't know where I can hide this on my bike!!! So my question is. What are my alternatives?
can I use a transistor to turn on the relay? thus making impedance lower?
an optical isolator? don't know anything about them
????
I am open to suggestions and any help is appreciated.
