    HI all
am repairing an overhead projector the circuit has a diode rectifier that is bad, it breaks down the 120V to 86V @360W but i cant find a replacement. any alternative ideas would be very helpful.
    thanks!!

    Hello!

Are there any markings on the rectifier that you can post, so a cross-reference can be made?

    Hi,

Anything that will handle 400 volts and 6 amps will do fine (that's overkill for safety).

I cannot be sure but it seems to be a G6004 and is what was said by beenthere
    but is 600V 6A

    http://www.nteinc.com/specs/5800to5899/pdf/nte5850_69.pdf
    Manufacturer Part No. G6004

    NTE Part No. NTE5862

NTE or ECG which has the same numbering scheme should be locally
procurable. The case style of that diode is a screw in type so it may not fit. I did not find a match for ATG60-04 or ATG6004

Is that ATG a large metal device with a threaded stud?
