hey there guys, im currently doing a project which require codes and i wanted to convert it from assembly code to hex file. Is there anyone can help me convert it to hex file? im having a real hard time converting it to hex file. so help will be much appreciate it u guys help me.View attachment andy.txt

 

Assembly code is assembled to machine code, and one convenient package for that is a hex file.

So you need an assembler. Microchip lets you download the one you need at:

MPLABX is the newer version but is still a work in progress. I use MPLAB (no X) at the second link myself.

 

Basically follow these steps:

When it asks "absolute or relocatable" choose absolute.
When you click build it generates the HEX file.
