I looked all over this forum & can't find exactly what I am looking for.

I have a small 6V DC motor that I want to run for 5 seconds & off for 10. It runs off of a 6V battery 4.5 amp/hr. It seams simple, but I have no idea how to do it.

Any help is appreciated.

 

Try a 555 timer circuit......

 

Try this:

The 1st motor on cycle will be longer than 5 seconds, but afterwards it'll settle down to about 5s on, 10s off.
