Basically this, I want to convert 9v dc to a 50hz pulse. And I need a very simple newbie circuit. If you have a tutorial, better. I’ve searched all over the net but I can’t seem to find one simple enough. The purpose is to connect its output to an old transformer to create some high voltage sparks. But the problem is that I can’t get or make a flyback transformer. So please help teach me a simple circuit for this. All help appreciated.

If you want to make some fun high voltage try an old automotive ignition coil!

Motorola used to have a bunch of automotive ignition circuits and applications notes about driving the coil.....fun stuff!

You can have some great fun by driving an ignition coil at audio frequencies,
but you will need ear plugs!

 

Hrm I've not seen that but I did see a singing Tesla coil.
