Can anyone help me ID an unknown transistor? It's in a T072 case (like a TO39 except with 4 leads) and it has these three lines on the top of the case:
S (the 'S' looks like the old Signetics' logo)
D211
814
I need to know what is and what the pin outs are?
Thank you for any help.

It may be an SD211 which are very high speed signal DMOS-FET's. They were made by Signetics decades ago. Calogic Corporation may still make them.

If it is a Signetics SD211 then looking at the leads (bottom view) the connections clockwise from the tab should be, in order; Source, Drain, Gate and finally the body/case.

I hope this helps.
