Need help for driver IC

Hello,
I want to know whether driver IC ir2110 has shoot through protection..i want the igbts in the same leg to be ON at the same time...does it allow??

The IR2110 does not have shoot-through protection.

If you have both IGBT's in the same side of an H-bridge on simultaneously, you will short out the supply. You will burn something up.

my project is switched inductor z-source inverter..where there is an impedance network between igbt leg and the dc source..my main objective is to short the igbt leg to get boost..source wont be shorted because of the impedance network.the current free-wheels through the network...my only prob is the driver ic...so with ir2110 i can turn ON both igbts in a leg at the same time??
