Need help finding a fluorescent lamp ballast

    What part of the world are you in? It might help us find a source you can use.

    I'm in the US. Seattle, Washington to be exact. I haven't been able to find a supplier for this specific ballast, maybe because it's an older low-end product. These lighting units aren't very expensive. They sell brand new for about US$50.

    I figure it can't be that hard to find a cheap ballast that will work as a replacement, but I just don't know enough about ballasts to match one to a particular bulb based on the specifications.

    Is matching the wattage and voltage enough? I just don't know. My degrees are in computer science, not electrical engineering. :)

    Incidentally, this unit also has an external bulb starter I forgot to mention in the original post. The starter is labeled "H-4X 30.40W Single 110-130V~".
