Need help designing L-Matching circuit

    I am trying to design a L circuit to match a admittance load of YL=(8-j12)*10^(-3) to a 50 ohm transmission line. The circuit should consist of either a capacitor in series and an inductor in parallel to the load or the other way around,inductor series to load and cap in parrallel.f=1GHZ. Please do not this using the smith chart technique,use the L-matching formulas. I understand how to do this with a real impedance load but not a complex admittance.
