im new to building electronics, so i could use some help. im looking to control 2 identical 9v dc motors that each draw 400mA and a 12v dc motor that draws 1.3A, i also need to control a 12v dc open frame solenoid. i have a basic stamp 2 homework board, and was wondering if this would be possible to do with this board. also any suggestions as far as H bridges i could use to control the motors would be helpful.

 

Take a look at the L298 data sheet. Seems like it should work for you.
