I have a couple of those and they work fine. Well worth the price.

Funny thing, on the back is a warning not to open the case since there are "No user serviceable items inside" but that's the only way to replace the battery. Maybe you are supposed to go back and get another free DMM when the battery goes dead. Of course, that can happen pretty fast if you forget to turn it off.

 

Yes I was just there and opted for the free tarp instead. I already have a half dozen of these meters. Car, workshop, garage, and now I'm planting them with family and friends so there's always a meter handy wherever I go.
