Need advice for a gaming chair project I'm working on

I'm finishing up on a gaming Lay Z Boy chair I'm making, and I've finished getting a 70w amp mounted in the char that controls bass shakers I have in the seat, but I also have the massage motor mechanism from an old massaging recliner that includes 2 motors, a remote and the AC adapter. What I want to do is hook up the massage motors, but instead of controlling them with the remote I want them to kind of sync with the music so the louder it is the faster the motors vibrate that way they sync with the action in the game.

The remote has 2, 3-way toggle rockers that change the speed of each motor to high, low, and off.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get the motors synced to the amp in the chair instead of the remote? I can post pictures if need be, thanks!

Do you want to just use the original levels (easy, I think), or are you hoping to have a continuously variable effect (probably harder)?
