For us old ones too lazy to re-learn programming, here is a non PIC solution: 3 surface mt ICs should not weigh too much. R2 could be a pot to adj for 1 sec, then use fixed R. R 3-8 depends on number of LEDs in series & desired I. 4049 is rated for 40 ma sink [ bring to gnd.], @ 25 deg C, 15V VDD. A review might be inorder??

    Welcome to AAC!

A thread belongs to the OP (original poster). Trying to take over someone elses thread is called hijacking, which is not allowed at All About Circuits. I have therefore given you a thread of your very own.

This was split from Need help with LED navigation lights

No one is going to be able to begin to help you unless you post a schmetic, post your code, define the issue and isolate the problem area.

Also tell us what you have done so far to troubleshoot the problem.

Plus I am guessing most people around here don't use "flow code" what ever that is. You Should learn to use C, assembler or even BASIC.

And this post probably belongs in the embedded forum.
