The National Semiconductor Linear Applications Handbook is a resource everyone who frequents this site should have. It is a true classic. Many of National Semiconductor parts are old and no longer readily available, but the designs are still valid with the latest new and improved parts.

Be warned that the PDF files are huge, over 40 MB for the version with text.

The book is not available at the archive anymore.
I found the book at The-eye here:

I have always hung on to my manuf handbooks, N.Semi, Motorola, IR and quite a few others from the 80's & 90's before they went to PDF.
I'm glad I did now that they no longer published or handed out free hard copies.

I have no idea why I felt the need to do this (except the memory of acumulative several months of my lifetime spent reading the damn thing) but I just bought a soft bound copy of "The TTL Data Book for Design Engineers."

It changed my life as much as the first PolyPaks ad I saw in Popular Electronics.

I have the hard bound version. :D

I am hoarding all of my old data books. For instance, a friend was looking at an old National Semiconductor digital data book from the mid 1970's a couple of days ago. He is getting a Pacer computer running again. It was built around a National Semi. PACE 16-bit microprocessor in the mid to late 70's.

I do my best to please. :)

I have developed the habit of warning people about file sizes since some of my friends are in remote areas. One is still on dial-up and another has spotty satellite service.

Hola Richard

As I said in a post, Opera, my browser, says that the site is showing an invalid certificate.

Is it there any chance to have access to it in another place? I will appreciate your help.
