Hola Richard

As I said in a post, Opera, my browser, says that the site is showing an invalid certificate.

Is it there any chance to have access to it in another place? I will appreciate your help.
My opera didn't shows that, just downloading very slowly, so I quit it and changed to chrome, the speed is more fast than chrome, but still not as normal.

The National Semiconductor Linear Applications Handbook is a resource everyone who frequents this site should have. It is a true classic. Many of National Semiconductor parts are old and no longer readily available, but the designs are still valid with the latest new and improved parts.

Be warned that the PDF files are huge, over 40 MB for the version with text.

p.s. I posted a link to this in another thread and then realized it should be here.
Another quality post, Rich!

@bertus I am not sure as to just what happened to arcive.org but a lot of the items that used to be there are no longer available. It seems they purged quite a few books that they had there for some reason.

Hello,

@SamR I have also noticed the change.
A lot of books have gone.
Some time ago you had a menu button for free books, wich is gone now.
Also a LOT of books now have the borrow status, wich require a login and can be read from 1 day to 2 weeks.
I also look at the-eye.
Here are a couple of pages:

https://the-eye.eu/public/WorldTracker.org/Science/Electronics/
https://the-eye.eu/public/WorldTracker.org/Engineering/Electrical Engineering/
https://the-eye.eu/public/Books/bitsavers.org/bitsavers.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de/
To get back on topic, there is a complete folder with National books over there:

PS I have updated the openings post of this thread with a life link for the databook.

Thank You Both for your help. Trying to find Data Sheets is quite challenging, and I am starting from scratch. I remember growing up these data books were laying around everywhere, we were tripping over them. Now they are as rare as Hens Teeth.

Here we go again... All links that I've found and tried for the National Semiconductor's "Linear Applications Handbook", 1986 or 1994 are dead. Does anyone have a current link to the PDF version that still works?

In particular I am looking for AN-222 "Nelson, Carl T., Super Matched Bipolar Transistor Pair Sets New Standards for Drift arid Noise, Application Note AN-222, Linear Applications Databook, p. 517. National Semiconductor, Santa Clara, CA, 1986." I have the NS and LT Linear Application Handbook 1 & 2 but there is no AN-222 or page 517. In fact, the pages are not numbered except by AN-xx. I suspect the citation may be in error but I have also searched by author and title of the application note...

Thanks Dennis et al. That is the exact one I was missing! There are a lot of variant Linear application handbooks but that is the gem of the lot and hard to find.

bitsavers is new to me but I have it in my list now, Thanks guys!
