name that darn item .

    Hello I'm a total noob here . I need help to identify this burnt out item here it's on the board of a digital Mixer (Numark 4trak ) it's directly behind its USB output port . Because of this little burn up my PC will not recognize it . Please help if you can thanks

    Its marked a 'D' which indicates a diode, looking at the package I would say its a bridge rectifier.

    Could be a TVS diode or a bridge, these would be there to protect the input.
    If fried, it's a good bet that other components died during the incident.

    Thanks a lot hopefully none have I've now the challenge of finding a shop that can replace it . Thanks for all your help I'll inspect the board for any more possible damage
