Toastmasters is a great program. It is not just something that comes in handy once in awhile. It is a way of living.
It trains you to think clearly and be organized. I gives you confidence and leadership skills.

I've seen a couple of Toastmaster moments, purely by accident. Both of them did something about the Titanic and I suddenly understood what they were doing. Both of them were very entertaining and enjoyable, and knew the script, word for word.

A Toastmaster is neither a Master of Ceremonies (emcee) nor someone who makes toasts at a wedding reception.

The Toastmasters program is for learning and practicing how to communicate your ideas effectively and how to become a leader in your community.

I have been a member of Toastmasters for over six years and it has changed by life from the moment that I joined.

Where did they find that perfectly square bread? Or does the masterful toaster make it square?

Aren't marketing people clever? They put the bread in upside down.

Are you really casting doubt on the capabilities of the ToastMaster?

Ok, I guess it is possible. Or, for the OCD crowd, the "Pullman" bread pan. No more worries that the sides of your bread do not align and fit perfectly with your Kraft Singles...

And what's one supposed to do with round bologna and semi-square bread?

Ok, enough of this silliness.

Always thought Toastmaster was the adult equivalent of high school debate club? :)

Read the earlier replies which were less irreverent.
