I have a wet saw that runs on a 2 horse power 120 volt motor. It will turn on for about a minute or two then turn off. If I leave the switch on, it will continue to turn on and off every 10 or 15 seconds. Do any of you know what is causing this?
    Thanks,

It may have a partly shorted coil, or defective overload protector. The OP opens up when too hot, and closes when it cools off.
