I am designing a plant that uses 120v motors. Do I need a motor starter? Any and all information would be great from surge supression to power circuit to how to wire up the plc. This is an industrial environment.

 

lonnietotty, there are many different variables which could play a role in your starter circuitry. What type of motors are these? What type of load are they supplying? If you can supply the name plate information, as well as some basic information on the load they will be supplying it will help significantly.
