MOSFET push pull source follower.

    Hi everyone,

    I have this following problem (uploaded it in the pdf). I have made an attempt at solving it, but now i am just stuck.

    I have done question one, and have confirmed my answers in PSpice.

    my Id = 16uA, Vgs = 1.4V and Vds = 4.6V ( 3 + 8/5)
    and for p-channel the values are just opposite.

    My problem is that i am stuck on question 2 where i have to calculate Vout min, Vout max, Vin min, Vin max. I thought that Vout max is Vdd - Vod, but i seem to be wrong.

    Any help will be very much appreciated.

    Do you have anymore information regarding the amp?

    I am doing the same question and am also stuck on question 2.

    what is your calculation steps?

    for first question, there is 0V at the output so the source voltage is 0.
    Then Vgs = 1.4 V. so we can use Id = .5Kn'(Vgs-Vt)^2, and obtain 60uA. Thats how i done question one.

    For the max and min, would you not check where the signal is being clipped and take that as the max and min?

    Can I see the pspice model that you used for this, there is a way to check regarding the current or the voltage to find Vmax and Vmin.
