MOSFET does not off correctly

What are you using to drive the gate? Can it pull lots of current our of the gate to shut the thing off? You probably know that turning off a mosfet is essentially discharging the gate capacitor.

As Ralph stated, you will need to turn the MOSFET off faster. Either by increasing the coutput current capability of your driver or using a MOSFET with a lower gate charge.

Is this a simulation or a real-world application?

What's the 39Ohm resistor for?

What's the source impedance of your MOSFET driver/power supply?, What's the gate resistor value?
