MOS Logic Circuits (PDN, PUN)

    Attached are the solutions to 2 problems from my text.

    The problems simply as you to draw the PDN for the function given.

    My usual strategy to doing this types of questions is to obtain,

    \bar{Y},

    and draw the PDN by inspection.

    The question circled in red has followed this method and implemented the PDN sucessfully.

    The question circled in blue seems to have the PDN and PUN mixed up for the function given.

    In other words,

    \bar{Y} = A + B(C + D)

    Is there a mistake in the blue solution or am I missing something?

    I had a similar problem when l tried this question. They might have mixed them up.

    It could be a typo. Substituting Y with Y' in the original question makes it make sense.
