Hey guys,

Just wonering if its possible to take a momentary switch and have it alternate between two outputs.

For example, pressing the switch once, sends momentary pulse to output 1, pressing switch again sends momentary pulse to ouput 2 and keeps switching back and forth

I searched but could not come up with anything for a momentary output, could only find solutions for latching outpusts.

Any help is appreciated.

Putting a capacitor in series with the output can convert a hard DC switching event into a pulse.
Don't forget to add a resistor (to ground) after the capacitor to discharge it between events.

What kind of pulse are you looking for? What should it look like (what voltage should it normally be at and what voltage should it pulse to)? How much current must it be able to supply (what's it driving)? How long should it last (both minimum and maximum time)? Does it need to be clean and square, or can it be sloped? There might be other factors that need to be considered, too, but that will get the ball rolling.
