    1. How does current smartphone vibrate.
    2. On internet I had read that it is motor.
    3. But i had opened a smartphone completely, except some circuit on it are enclosed in Al case.

I didn't saw any motor anywhere. Any Al case is very thin to house a motor, I think?

Every hand-held cell phone I have taken apart had a vibrator motor inside it. It might not look like a motor and can be encased in plastic as the two motors at the upper-right of the photo below are.

The iphone 4 that I scrapped last night had a motor only 1 cm long including the weight and 5 mm x 3 mm, encased in plastic except for the spinning weight.

The motor has an unbalanced weight attached. When it spins it causes a wobble (i.e. it vibrates).

Be advised that such motors may be less than 3 millimeters in diameter...

Said (mechanical) oscillation is achieved via rotation of an 'eccentric'...

Well... We're not talking multiple horsepower motors... ;)

    Best regards
