Missing trace pad help?

    Hi guys; i have here a Kindle mother board that charger port fell off, i have a new port but there is a missing trace pad on the board the second trace on the left next to the ground pin,
    can i chant this missing pin; see pic on the link,thanks and have a merry Christmas.

    You may be able to use wire to connect to the trace with the missing pad. Post a closeup picture of the connector area showing missing pad.

    I use 30AWG wire wrap wire for things like that.

    Thanks dl324; this is the best i can do as pic wise ,also here is a pic of another board that i have that is doomed missing more traces so i scraped the trace that is missing on the other board and the first pin which is ground is connected at the beginning of the missing pin,i was thinking of shunting the grounding and the missing pin then connect a piece of wire from the port pin to the black chip in front of it where the missing trace path is connected to.here a couple pic,with my crappy camera is the best i can do.

    A jumper wire to the trace with the missing pad or some other point should work because the connector itself can be attached securely.
