Mini aurora borealis

    Different gasses emit different colours as they flouresce. The atmosphere has many different gasses at different altitudes.

    The gasses filter colours making the sky appear blue on a sunny day.

    So if the plasma ball was filled with other gasses, would you get something similar to the one we experience in the earths atmosphere?

    Ask the people who make neon signs in many colours.

    Pretty interesting video. His setup is so close to both a violin and a riffle hanging on the wall.
