    Hey guys!
I'm working on a Novation Launchpad/Drumpad-like MIDI controller and I was wondering how can I achieve color feedback from my DAW to my controller? I'll be using Neopixel with an Arduino Mega. My design is a 8x8 square.

Can you describe your needs better?
    How/why/what do you expect/envision happening..

I want to build something like this . I couldn't get in touch with the OP so I have no idea how he managed to do it.

All that video shows (as far as I can see) is illuminated push-buttons controlling sound loops/tracks. A processor presumably responds to button presses to illuminate the buttons. Where does "colour feedback" occur?

By "colour feedback" I mean a different note/sound loop triggers a different colour on the button, but it would also have to have the ability to display "light shows" like this.
