Design a five section high pass lumped element filter with 1 dB equal-ripple response, a cut-off frequency of 1 GHz and an impedance of 50 Ohms. Plot the amplitude and phase response of the filter. Obtain microstrip realization for a dilecetric material of εr=9 and thickness 0.5 mm.
We searched about 1 dB values however in POZAR 3ed. microwave engineering book there are only 0.5 and 3 dB tables and graphs. Also We can not understand and find relationships, equations of microstrip realization. What is this mean. Can any body show the solution or tell the steps. Also how can we plot the amplitude and phase response of the filter by using MATLAB or something else we tried to use Smith V3.10 do design and plot. Also Matlab Smulink however we can not fix it.
Please this is really important for grade scheme.
