Microchip PIC32 and C++

We're considering using PIC32 for future products, but our main embedded programer uses C++ and MPLAB does not currently support C++. We've been told by Micrchip that MPLAB with C++ support is coming out later this year, and we've been told that Green Hills has a C++ compiler for microchip.

Does anyone have any info on this? Any insight on release of MPLAB with C++. Or any experience with Green Hills?

Thanks. Jim

At http://www.sourceboost.com/ you will find the only C++ compiler I know of. I haven't used that but I have used their "straight C" compiler and it works fine.

C++ is a little off the beaten path especially for smaller micros with little memory. That's not an issue with PIC32's.
