Guys plz help:confused::-

Given incremental voltage gain Av= -gm*Rd
prove that largest negative output signal peak that is acheivable with the transistor remaining in saturation is

vo=(Vds - Vov)/(1+1/Av)

Vov = Vgs - Vt

Vt = threshold voltage

(This is Problem no 4.53 in Microelectronic Circuits by Sedra and Smith)

heres the complete problem......

I think i have solved it but i want to clarify some conceptual doubts.....i.e exactly what are the limiting factors which determine the maximum allowed signal signal swing......

thnx
