It's been 30 years since I sat at the bench and used a single eye loupe and clamp-on bench lamp. I'm hoping things have changed since then and was wondering if there is a really good combination magnifying light/lens out there. It would need to provide sufficient light to see the small parts, enough magnification to help a 54 year old man out (probably the same as a regular eye loupe or perhaps something with interchangeable lenses to bump up the magnification for really small watches. one of my loupes has a screw-on attachment that provides a second lens that amplifies the magnification. It would also have to magnify and focus clearly at a distance from the work far enough to allow for my hands and tool manipulation beneath the lamp/lens.
Any help, guidance or suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
Many thanks
Michael
