I doubt it, but does anybody know what's the three-dimensional antenna radiation pattern of a household microwave magnetron?

In this case a Galanz M24FA-410A.

obs. please do not close this thread as someone may have an answer. The magnetron is still inside the microwave and I don't plan to transform it into an anti-riot weapon.

That will depend on the size and shape of the antenna feed into the oven cavity.

This will vary by manufacturer. The most common shape is circular and will use a primary magnetic dominant mode. TM0,1.

http://www.tpub.com/content/neets/14183/index.htm is a link to some information on waveguide propagation modes and types.

Thank you. I'm more interested in what the pattern would be without waveguide. This is pure curiosity. However, good link, lots of information... thanks again
