When we want to build a a machine with as great flux density as possible while avoiding excessive saturation in the core. What would be a reasonable maximum flux density for this core?

If the slope of the diagram is approaching to zero, then it's the place where the saturation occurs. However, I have no idea to find a suitable value for this question. Could someone please tell me what approach I should use in order to find a reasonable maximum flux density for this core? Thx~

It depends upon the core material. The core material data sheet will list that information.

Simply stating that you "want to build a machine" doesn't give one much to consider. Depending on the type of machine you are considering there may be several factors which influence the choice of maximum flux density.
