Is there a way to copy and paste tex-style math formatting direct into a thread. I wrote something with mathematical notation in lyx and when I try to copy and paste it into a thread it won't show up. It would be useful if you were working out something long and ran into trouble so could just paste it into a thread, instead of having to write out all your workings again with the embedded latex editor.

Put the mathematical statement between tex and /tex tags.
PS:there should be brackets at each side of the two tags.

Whenever you edit there is a A/A symbol on the corner of your edit screen. Try clicking it.

Correct, the solution is to switch to the standard editor where you can paste in http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/showthread.php?t=21380

Dave" alt=" commands. We also have a TEX editor which is accessible from the Sigma command in the formatting toolbar above the post reply area.

For details on TEX see thatoneguys tutorial: http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/showthread.php?t=21380
