okay... so we were given an activity to translate the given netlists into schematic diagram using ltspice... i managed to create the schematic, but the 2nd direction says that i have to verify the following schematic parameters using dc analysis (dc sweep and dc op) and I'm wondering how to do this:
a. output voltage (Vprobe at Out)
b. operating current (Iprobe at R1)
c. line regulation (@vin=8.5 and 95)
d. load regulation(@Iload=1A and 1.5A)..
I'm done with a and b... i don't know about c and d.

I'm quite new with ltspice so i don't know much.. I just want to know how this works, please guide me.. thanks :"D

 

For line regulation, you're given two different input voltages. Test the output voltage with each input voltage in turn, then use that to determine the amount of line regulation.

For load regulation, change the load impedance so that the load current equals 1A, then change it so the load current equals 1.5A. Measure the output voltage for each load and use that to determine the amount of load regulation.
