LT 1787 Current Sensing IC

    Hi,
    I am using the LT1787 current sensing IC in unidirectional mode (see attached image). In the system I'm measuring current for, there is an electromechanical relay prior to pin 7 (Vs+) that cuts off supply to the IC (in this case the current to my load is zero). Can I expect the output voltage to be zero (Vout pin), or will there be a issue because pin 7 and 2 are floating and/or the opamp not being powered?

    I have grounded Vbias as in the diagram.

    If your load has no other source of power except Vs, then I believe the output will be grounded through the internal 20k resistor.
