Hi everybody :)

:)
Can Anybody advise on how to make the following inverter or know where i can buy one or find an existing circuit diagram, the details are listed below:

DC-AC Inverter
Input: 4.8 volts DC
Output: 36 volts AC
Power Output: 0.2 Watts
Operating Frequency: 50-60Hz

I would like to run this from 4 x 1.2v AA batteries.

thanks:)

Is 36 volt amplitude value or is it RMS? And you do want a sine wave?
My first guess is to use a sine wave oscillator then a low power audio amp. Connect this to a standard 220 to 18 volt transformer. Turn the transformer around so the 220 volt input is output on the transformer.
Just a hint;)

thanks for the reply, it would be 36v rms abd would need a sine wave

do you have any other suggestions, i am looking for an existing small, cheap, simple circuit or pre-made inverter that I could use to make a small batch of inverters (50 or so) or even someone that could make these for me ....

thanks

I actually think my solution is the simplest. Then I am talking about audio amplifier I mean a audio amplifier chip. Using a chip like this is ideal then working with transformers since the can handle this kind of load. Very few component will be needed.
