I wonder why lorentz force is against the forum rules.
Is it that this can be weaponized or due to high voltage used

    Just curios.

The force is a part of physics, and can hardly be against the rules. In motor applications - http://motionsystemdesign.com/mag/lorenzforce_motors/ it is quite useful.

Where persons express interest in rail guns, we draw a line. Information is available elsewhere if you care to pursue it. It involves high voltages and currents, and a projectile capable of lethal force, so do not assume it can be treated as a fun toy.

    from a thread Dave.
Some guy wanted to charge a bank of caps to 350V or something.
So after that I searched what the two had in common.

Any ways, I think I made a bad assumption.
    It's OK now

Ok, no problem. The Lorenz force is "on-topic" so to speak.

In the top right-hand corner of each post you will see a [IMG]

Click that and it mails through to a mod/admin who will take the necessary action. You only need do it for one post, of course.
