The water was rough , a few sea sick people....after staying up until

2;00 am , I got too the dock just in time to go out. While heading out

to the reef ,there was an coast guard alert about another boat with

someone in pain. The captain of the other boat was asking how to deal

with diver in pain. The Inlet was very rough ,you have to be there to

realize things that could go wrong. That why you hear of so many

deaths while diving. When you are in the water ,the rear of the boat

can rise up and knock you out ,the dive platform and latter can

disappear under the water when you reach for it. You have to be

there to see this boat rocking like a toy boat. What a great feeling

being in the water ,thinking about you guys and the fact that I was

there still able to swim in the Great Atlantic Ocean.

Yep...you have to reach up and grab the ladder when you are in the trough of the swell and hold on for the boat to rise up on the crest ....then scramble up on the platform or over the gunnel.....all that with a tank on your back....man....those were the days!
Going from floating in the water to taking all that weight at once gives you an appreciation for gravity....and inertia, I guess...
