I would like to have a circuit that can be set to light an LED and set off an alarm at repeated intervals every 12 hours. I would also like to have the LED and alarm turned off with the push of a button but to have it go off again 12 hours later. I want all of this to be on a very small scale (about the size of a quarter).

I know nothing about small electronic circuitry but have been told by other members here that an MCU is the way to go. I would like to know if someone would be willing to build this for me in exchange for some type of components or small fee.

Please post in here or PM me if interested. Thanks!

Mr. Chips is correct.

The other thread is here.

One thread for a subject is enough. The reason you may be having problems is your project is decidedly hard to do, with the specs you have given. I agree a µC is the way to go, but understand you are not talking an insignificant amount of work. Many folks do this sort of stuff as their day job, for a substantial fee.
