Currently I'm doing a project that will take an digital signal and endecode (compress) so that I can send this signal out through a bluetooth module. Also when this decoded signal comes to the destination, I need to decode this signal.
Could you please help me choose decoder and encoder chips that are compatible for PIC18 series?

Holtek has a line of encoder/decoder devices that you may be able to employ.

Sorry, I don't have any PIC boards to recommend. Hopefully another member is familiar with some PIC boards with Holtek or Holtek-like devices built in.
