I'm looking for a simple component that acts as a pair of diodes that are combined on the output side basically allowing 2 separate inputs to control 1 output without back feeding. my shop uses 2 diodes twisted together but i wanted to see if theres a mass produced component that will do this for us.

 

There are various options. Double diode. Usually double Schottky diodes

The ones I found can do high current. Check my second link.

 

Any bridge rectifier can do this; you just don't use 1 pin (and 2 diodes inside).

Your inputs go the the AC terminals, your output to the + terminal.
