Hi.

I'll be taking next year a course called 'energy conversion' (I posted its syllabus below).
Could anyone please refer me to an online book that deals with these subject?
Thank you very much.

Its syllabus is:

Three phase networks.
Review of Maxwell equations in integral form and Lorentz force.
Magnetic circuits in DC, flux and magnetomotive force - electrical circuit analogue.
Definition of induction, calculation of stored magnetic energy, magnetic forces.
Magnetic circuits in AC, ferrum losses: eddy currents and hysteresis.
Transformers: definition of the ideal transformer, practical transformer and its equivalent scheme, copper and ferrum losses. Output votage as function of load.
Three phase transformer.
Preparation for rotational machines: rotational motion, magnetic dipole in a magnetic flux, rotational moment and potential energy, rotating magnetic field.
Synchronous machine, generator and motor, equivalent scheme, number of poles, turns coefficient, fixed magnet stator and electromagnet stator.
Asynchronous machine, equivalent scheme, characteristics of rotational moment vs. rotational velocity, methods of ignition.
DC machine, equivalent scheme, characteristics of rotational moment vs. rotational velocity, methods of ignition.
Solar cells, photovoltaic effect.
